Admission Requirements
Applicants:
- should hold a bachelor’s degree from a recognised university or equivalent; and
- should have a degree from a university in Hong Kong or an English speaking country; or
submit one of the following original score reports/certificates for assessment:
- TOEFL (minimum score: 550 Paper-based; 213 computer-based; and 79 internet-based);
- IELTS (Academic) (Band 6.5 or above);
- College English Test (CET 6) of PRC (450 or above) ; and
- will be given preference with a background in social sciences and/or humanities.;and
- if short-listed, may be required to attend an interview as part of the selection process.
Tuition fee and Scholarship
The tuition fee of the whole Programme for AY 2020-2021 is $107,800 which is payable in two semester for 1 year Full-time programme. Some courses (please visit Course List page for details) in MSocSc (Contemporary China Studies) are reimbursable by the Continuing Education Fund (CEF) courses. Eligible applicants for the CEF will be reimbursed their tuition fees, subject to a maximum sum of HK$20,000. You may also visit CEF website for more information: http://www.wfsfaa.gov.hk/cef/
Scholarship in MCCS Programme is in Merit-based and will be given to students who achieved outstanding academic performance.
