Orientation Workshop AY2017/18
On 29th August 2017, the Programme Office of Master of Social Sciences (Contemporary China Studies) held an Orientation Workshop for all new-coming students. Prof. Mak King Sang, the new MCCS Programme Director, delivered a welcoming speech to new students with introducing the features of our Programme. Besides, Dr. Chan Hing Lin (from Economics Department), Dr. Li Jianfeng (from Geography Department), Dr. Kowk Kam Chau (from History Department), and Dr. Chew Ming Tak Matthew (from Sociology Department) met with each concentration students.

由浸大中國研究課程、當代中國研究所和當代中國研究社會科學碩士課程主辦的第四屆中國研究青年學者研討會於12月19至20日舉行,本屆主題聚焦於「多元範式與中國研究」,吸引逾70名來自世界各地的年青學者聚首浸大分享研究成果。 本屆研討會邀請了澳洲國立大學亞太學院教授安戈教授(Prof. Jonathan Unger)及西澳大學商學院教授吳延瑞教授(Prof. Yanrui Wu)擔任主題演講嘉賓,講題分別是「The Grassroots Turmoil in China’s Cultural Revolution: A Half Century Perspective」及「Can China Avoid the Middle Income Trap?」。
